West Ham

My favorite soccer team is West Ham. Throughout our families history we have always been Hammers. Each generation has cheered on different players, from Frank Lampard to Andy Carroll, Bobby Moore to Geoff Hurst. These players have played important roles in the history of football and history in general. Bobby Moore led England to victory in the 1966 World cup final against Germany, beating them 4 - 2. Geoff Hurst scored a hat-trick in the game, the only player to do so in a world cup final. Frank Lampard is a prominent English soccer player and one of the figure heads for the game at large. We will always support West Ham, whether they are far down on the table or coming number one. The team is going through changes at the moment and they have been given the Olympic stadium, that was built for the London Olympics, this change will bring on a new era in West Ham history and a new it's a change that i am very exited for. - Michael
