Lionel Messi,
Argentina’s 25 years old soccer player was born in Rosario, Santa Fe Province has been known as the FIFA world player of
the year since 2009. He plays for a soccer club named FC Barcelona since the
year of 2000-2003. From his great ability at playing soccer, Messi then
recruited to play with the Argentina national team as a captain. At age 25, Messi became the
youngest player to score 200 La Liga goals. This makes him as one
of the greatest players in the history of the game. In March 2012, Messi made
Champions League history by becoming the first player to score five goals in
one match. He also set the European record for most goals scored in a season
during the 2011–12 seasons, with 73 goals. In December 2012, FC Barcelona announced that Messi will sign a 5 year contract extension
which will keep him at FC Barcelona until 2018 and raising his base salary to €16 million net
